win the 4-hour body by tim ferriss

Here’s your chance to win a FREE copy of The 4-Hour Body by Tim Ferriss!

This is sort of an impromptu contest I decided to do just now. If you’re not familiar with Tim yet, you should read my review of The 4-Hour Body to see what’s up. But Tim was just on Dr. Oz (the TV show) earlier this week, on the New York Times best seller list, in Wired magazine, and who knows where else this past month. So you’ve probably heard of him by now.

I purchased some extra copies of the book because I loved it so much, and now I will be giving one away in this contest!

Here’s how you can win, it’s simple:

– Tweet me @coachlevi on Twitter explaining why you need to read The 4-Hour Body. For example, you might tweet:

@coachlevi I want 4HB to lose 3% bodyfat, get to my racing weight, and get stronger so ppl don’t call me a wimpy cyclist!

Be creative and have fun. You can also post a comment here if you need more space to answer, although I will be basing my decision on the short and succinct tweets.

I also suggest following @coachlevi and @tferriss on Twitter, but that’s just for your personal benefit aside from the contest! 🙂

The finer details:

– I will choose the winner(s) Tuesday, February 1. That means this contest closes at midnight on Monday, January 31.

– I’m not 100% sure how many books I will give away. I will give away at least one, but if I can’t narrow it down to just one awesome winner, I will ship out more!

– Since this book is rather heavy and I’m paying for everything myself, I can only ship to addresses in the continental USA.

– If you need the book this week, I suggest hitting up Amazon.com and buying the Kindle version, rather than waiting for this contest to end.

That’s it! Now get tweeting for your chance to win!

February 1 Winner Announcement!

The contest is now closed and I have chosen a winner. Here is the winning tweet from Ed @pulsetraining:

@coachlevi at 42 5’9″ 225# I need 4HB to keep up with my 12yo 5’6″ 150# son. I’m up 25# after a year long of no riding from severe tendonitis

This tweet really inspired me, because I’m a firm believer every active 12 year old should have a dad that’s in shape and can keep up to him! I’m sure Ed is busy and needs to fit in health and fitness in a time efficient manner, which The 4-Hour Body should help with. Also, I loved the chapter on reversing permanent injuries, and hopefully some of that info will help with the tendonitis and get Ed back to riding.

So Ed, congratulations, and I hope you enjoy the book!
