Time to Think About Base

So I got recovered from last season, and I’ve been working on body weight exercises and functional strength training. Gym workouts have intentionally been left out :)

But… what about riding? I mean, this is time for building my base, right?

I had planned to build my base from January through March. But things change. I decided to skip long indoor rides, for obvious reasons. Not the least of which is the fact that I was burnt out in September last year!

I just finished up a 2 hour ride on the rollers, which wasn’t bad considering I’ve been riding so little. I think I’ll begin my base training by doing a long indoor ride once a week. But hopefully I’ll be outside soon!
