My physical therapist recommended I use a tennis ball or lacrosse ball for leg massages. These are even cheaper than that massager, just as easy to carry around and probably more effective.

I am SO please I found your post. I have been trying, in vain, to work out where on earth the battery compartment was. You’ve just saved me from throwing it away! I saw the button but didn’t press hard enough. Thank you Irha.

I actually found later that you just have to push the button underneath to open the battery compartment. It was silly, but I really didn’t pay attention to the button underneath.

And it sucks even more because the batteries can’t be user replaceable. My 18 month old uses it as a toy. It is actually cool to watch it if you leave it on on a level surface. The vibration is such that it keeps revolving in place. She ended up consuming the charge and while looking for a way to replace batteries, I removed the top off and found that the batteries, though are 3 AAA’s, are kind of sealed.
